TAJ FOTO STUDIO was founded in May 1986 by ZORAWAR SINGH LUGANI (Press name : Vicky Lugani) by clicking of the first roll at Miss India Contest. Zorawar Singh Lugani came into prominence from May 1987 when the first picture of Priya Darshani Pradhan being crowned by Maureen Wadia was printed in JET-SET. This was followed by a lot of assignments for Miss India contests & magazines. In August 1988, Zorawar SVL was appointed as staff photographer for Sterling Newspapers clicking for – Gentleman, GFQ, technocrat, Mega-City & Business Computers mags. In August 1990, ZSV Lugani got the opportunity to work for Business Press of Mr. R.V. Pandit, clicking for Indian Architect & Builder Mag. & Indian Auto.
Free Lanced for Front-line magazine and accidentally helped URMILLA MATONDKAR bag her big role in Narsimha. On 4th August 1991, ZS Vicky L resigned from Business Press to lift his own Co. Taj Foto Studio – started in 1986 at Linking Road, Bandra. Since then various new activities & improvements came. We had been the first in taking the modelling studio-lights at events and making stars out of general crowd.
Taj Foto Studio had been keeping up with Innovations in technology and is in pace with the requirements of electronic equipment. TFS has inhouse- HD Video live production systems, Live streaming across social medias, inhouse video editing facilities, photographers and cinematographers.
Nevertheless TAJ FOTO STUDIO has been officially recognised as a training Institute with the Trade mark Registry in August 2018. Youngsters join the company and become trained camerapersons, videographers & cinematographers, helping the nation and its people with self-employment and entrepreneurship. The list of successful professional camerapersons are as follows: Vijay Bhatia, Jacob Xavier, Rohit Tak, Krishna, Harjit Singh, Mahesh Shukla, Nand Kumar, Sachin Singhade, Aniket, Sumit Pawar, Nilesh Jadhav, Agast Pal, Bishambhr, etc… I can never forget Raj Kumar, who got trained in 2 months and opened his studio in Bihar in 1997.
